Agor@ Bridge plateform is a multiprocessor digital signal processing
board. It is based on the new Analog Devices 32 bit floating
point DSP generation, the SHARC Hammerhead (ADSP-21160 and ADSP-21161).
The originality of this board resides in the user interface.
Our plateforme is equipped with an Ethernet port allowing to
control the board with HTML pages. Any computer equipped
with an Ethernet card and a web browser can drive the plateform,
without any software installation. The functionalities not controlled
in HTML (filter design, a zoom
or a cursor on a plot) are controlled by JAVA applets inserted in
the web pages.
Visit our Agor@ Bridge simulation for
a demonstration of such software environment capacities. This simulation includes two applications, parts of the standard package
delivered with the plateform : FIR filter synthesis with waweforms
monitoring, and Frequency-Time analysis with waterfall plotting.
Agor@ Bridge is modifiable according the user needs. The network interface and the
first DSP (which runs the web server) are placed on a mother
board, comprising six extension slots. These slots can receive
a daughter board with a processing module (another DSP) or
an I/O module (DSP associated to specific I/O hardware). The
additionnal DSPs could be of the new Hammerhead family soon launched by Analog Devices,
the ADSP-21161.
Our platform is aimed to be a high performance product. To maintain a bandwidth
at least equal to the PCI Bus bandwidth, we have chosen to work with the Gigabit Ethernet driver.
